A word to FAST Check Pilots
These are still picked by the signatory organization, meaning TRARON, and reviewed by the FAST National Board There is no "check ride" for Check Pilot, those reccommending would have flown with the individual enough to have done that. To maintain status however: - Give one check ride every 2 years and/or, - Give and report 5 hours of formation dual annually and/or, - Lead a 4-ship at 3 demonstrations a year, or - Be recommended and approved to continue by the FAST review committee, AND, - Attend 1 check pilot meeting avery 2 years, AND, - Continue to receive the signatory's recommendations to continue as a Check Pilot |
