The annual TRARON Formation Clinic will be
held at Odessa-Schlemeyer Airport (ODO), Oct. 5-7. Ground school run by
Rick Hoskings and Jim Munn will start at 1800, Wednesday 5 Oct. at the
Desert Squadron Hanger. For early arrivals Wednesday there can be
practice. We will plan a busy day of flying Thursday and Friday A.M.
Rick Hoskings will lead the T-6’s to MAF Friday afternoon and during Air
Sho Saturday and Sunday. If you plan on flying in the Air Sho, please
try to attend the Clinic at least one day.
Jim Munn is talking with the FBO about a fuel
discount. We don’t have a firm price yet. The Ladies of the Desert
Squadron have graciously offered their outstanding meals for noon
Thursday and Friday.
There is not yet a count on the number of
B.T.’s and P.T.’s (including Stearmans) but we will try to provide
instruction if enough arrive. Please register. Print the form off the
TRARON web site, and mail to me with a check made to TRARON, ($100 for
Pilots, $50 for Check Pilots and IP’s). Room arrangements are on your
own.
Please make every effort to attend the Clinic
for Safety, Proficiency, and Fun. Register Early!!. Don’t forget to
bring the Waiver of Subrogation in favor of the CAF and additional
insured for the CAF as outlined in the Registration Form. CAF
Regulations will not allow an airplane to participate in a TRARON Clinic
without it.
