Dear Traron Pilots,

We are well into the new year already and I hope you aren’t where the weather has been so bad.  The Inland Empire Wing of the CAF was forced to postpone the formation clinic that they had planned for this weekend due to the very inclement weather on the west coast.  They are hoping to reschedule so I will do my best to keep you informed as to the new dates.

You should all have received my letter during the first of December that included the dues notice for your 2010 dues.  If your dues were paid and your formation activity reports had been turned in, you should have received your 2010 Traron Formation Card with the FAST stamp affixed.  Julie Smith, our new sec/treas, has already sent out all the cards for this group of pilots.  She still has 2 lists of pilots remaining for whom she has not sent out 2010 cards.  The first group is those pilots that have not paid their dues and the 2nd group are those pilots that have paid their dues but have not turned in a Formation Proficiency Report during 2009.  In some cases, pilots are deficient in both.  In order for Julie to send out a card to you, if you are in one of those groups, you will need to correct the deficiency with her so that you are all up to date.  If you feel that your lack of dues payment or the lack of FPR is a bookkeeping error, you should contact Julie right away so that the problem can be worked out.  We have certainly had some bookkeeping errors in the last year or so and we need to get them straightened out as quickly as possible.  Julie will work with you in any way she can in order to correct any problems.   You can check to see what our records show for you by going to mydocsonline.com and looking at our data base.  It is up to date with the information that Julie has as of now.  When you get to mydocsonline.com, go to the upper right hand corner to the member login box.  Traron is the login and formation is the password.  Once in the file, click on the public file section and then click on the Public Traron members line.  This area will give you what we have as per your dues status and your flight currency status.  If you don’t agree with what we have, contact Julie right away.

We want to get a card to everyone who deserves one as quickly as possible and we want to eliminate the errors that have been a problem for the last few months.  We look forward to hearing from you and getting you the card that you deserve.

Keep ‘em Flying

Rick
